B.HOM Student Living is seeking a General Manager for The Oliver, Baton Rouge, responsible for the overall operations and financial performance of the community. You will oversee staffing, leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident experience to deliver strong NOI and lead a high-performing team.

The role emphasizes leadership, property management discipline, and external relations with campus partners, ensuring exceptional resident experiences and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of student housing operations.
• Ability to obtain any required state leasing license within required timeframe.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and develop community team members.
• Oversee day-to-day property operations across departments.
• Support leasing efforts, tours, and sales activities as needed.
• Maintain strong leasing and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Manage property budget, expenses, and financial performance to maximize NOI.
• Develop partnerships with universities and local organizations.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support community success.
