B.HOM Student Living in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a General Manager to lead a student housing community. You will oversee staffing, leasing, marketing, maintenance, financials, and resident experience to deliver strong NOI and a high-performing team.

The role requires a 2-year degree, proven leadership, and the ability to manage operations across departments, build campus partnerships, and drive occupancy while upholding the company values.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer systems.
• Understanding of student housing operations and campus environments.
• Ability to obtain state leasing license within required timeframe.
• Experience in student housing or multifamily property management.
• Familiarity with Entrata property management system.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the community team; hire, train, coach and schedule staff.
• Oversee day-to-day property operations across departments.
• Coordinate unit turns and meet move-in deadlines.
• Drive leasing, marketing and resident experience strategies.
• Manage property budget, expenses and NOI to maximize performance.
• Build partnerships with universities and local organizations.
• Represent B.HOM professionally to residents and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with policies and financial controls.
