Job summary

The University of South Carolina invites applications for the Coordinator for Chapter Services in the Division of Student Affairs and Academic Support. You will serve as primary advisor to governing councils, oversee recruitment, orientation, and new member education, and coordinate chapter coaching across fraternities and sororities.

You will develop leadership programs, support risk management and assessment initiatives, and collaborate with campus offices to create an inclusive Greek

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 2+ years of experience.
• Equivalent certification, training, or experience may be considered.
• Membership in a Greek organization strongly preferred.
• Master’s degree in higher education or related field preferred.
• Excellent communication, planning, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Advise at least one governing council, oversee recruitment and new member education.
• Coach a cohort of chapters and liaise with university staff.
• Support leadership and harm‑reduction programming and recruit leaders.
• Train student leaders in membership and academic records management.
• Implement education and assessment to develop leadership skills.
• Supervise student staff and ensure career readiness.
• Assist in emergency support and on‑call rotation.
