Job summary

The University of Alabama is hiring an Assistant Director for Fraternity and Sorority Life to advise Greek Council officers and chapter leaders while shaping student leaders across the community.

As the primary advisor to the Interfraternity Council, you will plan major council events, oversee health and wellbeing initiatives, and collaborate with campus partners to promote learning outcomes across more than 70 chapters and 13,000 students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years of fraternity and sorority life experience, or a Master's degree and two years.
• Undergraduate membership in a Greek-letter organization is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advise Interfraternity Council officers, chapter presidents, and chapter leadership teams.
• Plan major council events including recruitment, convocation, and new member education.
• Develop and coordinate educational programs tied to fraternity and sorority learning outcomes.
• Oversee Greek-specific health and wellbeing initiatives across the community.
• Serve as liaison between the Fraternity and Sorority Life office and campus health and wellbeing partners.
• Support a community of over 70 chapters and more than 13,000 student members.
