Job summary

The University of Kentucky in Lexington, KY, seeks a Senior Coordinator for Council Advising, Engagement Events, and New Membership Experiences to serve as the primary advisor to an assigned fraternity or sorority governing council and a portfolio of chapters.

This role provides strategic advising, leadership development, and operational guidance to promote student success, healthy organizations, and active involvement in Fraternity and Sorority Life, including recruitment and new member

Qualifications

• Master's degree (or equivalency) in higher education, student affairs, college student personnel, counseling, leadership, or a related field.
• At least three years of professional experience in fraternity and sorority life, student organization advising, leadership development, event planning, program management, or related student affairs.
• Experience advising a fraternity or sorority governing council and supporting recruitment, chapter coaching, leadership programs, and large-scale events is preferred.
• Must have evening, weekend, and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary advisor to an assigned fraternity or sorority governing council and a portfolio of chapters.
• Provide strategic advising, leadership development, organizational support, and operational guidance.
• Lead recruitment and intake initiatives, new member experiences, engagement programming, and signature events.
• Collaborate with students, alumni advisors, inter/national organizations, campus partners, and community stakeholders.
• Advance the Fraternity and Sorority Life mission and support University priorities.
