Qualifications

• Must be a current student in good academic standing.
• Federal Work Study preferred.
• GPA 3.0 or above preferred.
• One year of college education preferred.
• Second language proficiency preferred.
• Some knowledge of Library of Congress classification and call number system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers excellent customer service at the Jerry Falwell Library service desks.
• Responds to emails promptly, answers phones, and notifies supervisor of schedule changes.
• Provides research assistance using basic databases and electronic resources.
• Gives basic technology help by troubleshooting computers and printers.
• Performs general duties and maintains a clean, orderly environment.
• Works effectively as part of the Learning Commons team.
