Job summary

Bedford College Group is seeking a Learning Facilitator for the Additional Learning Support department at Bedford campus. You will provide one-to-one and small-group support to students with learning difficulties, develop accessible resources, and monitor progress with safeguarding in mind.

The role requires Level 3 education with GCSE/Level 2 Maths and English, plus related qualifications. Travel between college locations may be needed; 37 hours/week, 37 weeks/year; permanent-term-time contract.

Qualifications

• Qualifications include Level 3 education with GCSE/Level 2 Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Study Skills Support - provide one-to-one and small-group support for students with identified Learning Difficulties and/or Disabilities.
• Learning Resources & Assistive Technology - develop accessible learning resources and assistive technologies to meet individual student needs.
• Assessment & Progress Monitoring - administer, mark and invigilate assessments, monitor student progress and attendance.
• Record Keeping & Service Development - maintain accurate student records and support documentation.
• Collaboration, Safeguarding & College Responsibilities - work with curriculum staff and managers and uphold safeguarding and equality responsibilities.
