Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be a Shelton School District internal.
• Experience in student leadership, event planning, or education settings is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to connect with students, parents, and staff.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive school culture and maintain organizational rigor.

Responsibilities

• Develops a philosophy for student conduct during class/club programs.
• Maintain a high-interest, balanced club program meeting student needs.
• Schedule events with administration and calendar placement.
• Arrange transportation and supervision for off-campus activities.
• Lead class/club officers and coordinate ASB activities.
• Coordinate fundraising events and keep calendar updated.
• Provide leadership and training for officers on fundraising and banking.
• Prepare and conduct school-site student leadership programs.
• Maintain working budget and supervise bookkeeping and banking.
• Supervise students to ensure a safe environment.
• Foster positive relationships to welcome all students.
• Collaborate professionally with district and school staff.
• Support District Plan, School Improvement Plan, and policies.
