Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and CIS1020 or equivalent with grade C or higher.
• One year paid experience in a computer-related or customer service role or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist daily operation of Student Open Lab or Admissions Hub, aiding students with class work and computer use.
• Maintain computer equipment and install software; troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Provide excellent customer service and clear communications with staff and students.
• Log and prioritize in-person, phone, voicemail, and email requests.
• Guide users through diagnostic steps to resolve issues; escalate complex problems.
• Coordinate with vendors for service requests and follow-up on repairs.
• Help write or revise user training manuals and lab procedures.
• Keep labs clean and stocked (printers, paper, toner).
• Stay current with available software and lab functions.
• Interact with people from diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
