Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College is seeking a part-time Physical Science Center Lab Aide - Student to assist PSC lab staff with lab set-up, cleaning, and general operations. Flexible hours between 10 and 25 per week, with shifts including evenings or weekends as needed.

As a current OCCC student, you will help ensure safe, clean, and well-organized lab spaces, while adhering to safety policies and participating in required trainings.

Responsibilities

• Interact with students, faculty, and staff while performing duties.
• Participate in required training offered by OCCC.
• Assist PSC lab staff with maintenance and upkeep of labs and common areas.
• Wash, rinse, dry and store laboratory glassware.
• Open or close the PSC following procedures.
• Assist with administrative tasks during times scheduled in the PSC.
• Perform routine housekeeping to keep areas clean and orderly.
