Job summary

Oklahoma City Community College seeks an STEP Engineering Lab Assistant/Tutor to support students with lecture and lab material during scheduled hours in the Engineering Lab. The role may also assist professors with class projects, equipment, and safety.

Qualifications

• Current student enrolled in 6+ credit hours (Fall/Spring) or 3+ credit hours (Summer)
• Federal Work Study award
• Must have completed Engineering Physics I and Calculus II with a C or better
• Hands-on work experience or direct interaction with Engineering Professors preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist students with lecture material and lab exercises during scheduled hours.
• Help Engineering Professors with class projects, equipment and safety as needed.
• Maintain safety and health procedures in the Engineering Lab.
