Job summary

Villanova University is seeking an Information Technology Technician I – Application Developer to support the Web Services and Technologies team with application development, QA, content updates, and enterprise technology initiatives that enhance the University’s digital services.

This student role provides hands-on experience with web platforms, mobile technologies, low-code/no-code tools, and emerging AI-supported work while learning from UTS professionals to deliver impactful solutions for

Qualifications

General technical curiosity and ability to learn new systems.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

Assist with maintenance and enhancement of the University website and web portal; content updates and functionality improvements.
Perform quality checks for broken links, spelling errors, and accessibility compliance.
Create and update digital content and assets for end users.
Maintain and organize the DAM repository, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Support content lifecycle management including removal, archiving and migration of assets.
Assist with development and testing of University mobile applications.
Work on integrations and supporting web applications.
Contribute to documentation efforts and process workflows.
Monitor and manage Service Request/Incident queue; ensure timely updates and resolution.
