Responsibilities

• Manage multi-platform systems including file backups, upgrades, software installation, monitoring, and user management.
• Develop software applications to improve system management and departmental support.
• Enforce cybersecurity best practices and ensure compliance with research grant data requirements.
• Support course-related system configurations and application installation for the Computer Science department.
• Administer databases (Oracle, MySQL), cloud/virtualization platforms (VMware, AWS), and web servers (Apache, PHP).
• Provide technical support to faculty, staff, and students resolving system-related issues.
• Collaborate with University Technology Services and act as a departmental liaison for procurement and support.
• Participate in special events including open houses, fairs, conferences, and senior projects.
