Job summary

This is a hybrid, part-time role based at the Spring Valley Building with remote work options and occasional in-office days for training and meetings.

You will collaborate with instructional designers and media specialists, embedding video content and formatting materials, while maintaining high standards for online learning

Qualifications

• Current American University student with an active Federal Work Study (FWS) award.
• Organized, proactive, and have a meticulous eye for detail.
• Flexible, adaptable, and able to manage multiple priorities at once.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new courses in Canvas with ODLS team.
• Fix accessibility issues in files.
• Format slide decks for video production.
• Embed video content on Canvas pages.
• Review courses in Canvas for accessibility and quality assurance.
• Review video footage and correct machine-generated captions.
