Job summary

Butler Community College is seeking an Instructional Designer and Accessibility Specialist to support the Educational Technology team with accessibility compliance and to assist the instructional designer in creating engaging online courses within the LMS. The role requires knowledge of universal design principles, accessibility standards, and best practices in online teaching.

Responsibilities

• Support Educational Technology with accessibility compliance and assist Instructional Designer in creating engaging online courses in the LMS.
• Apply instructional design principles and accessibility best practices; utilize standard tools and multimedia resources.
• Troubleshoot, train, conduct quality assurance, and contribute to innovative online learning projects.
• Demonstrate Canvas (or similar LMS) expertise and strong project management; manage multiple priorities with a proactive, self-driven mindset.
