Job summary

The CoLab at the University at Buffalo is seeking a Program Coordinator to design, develop, and deliver innovative programming for UB students. You will lead the design and facilitation of workshops and programs that foster creativity, inclusive learning, and practical skills across campus.

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will collaborate with students, staff, and external partners to assess impact and iterate programs based on feedback, contributing to a student-centered environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, instructional design, communication, or related field with at least two years of experience.
• Proficiency in instructional design, curriculum development, or program design.
• Strong presentation and facilitation skills with experience leading workshops for diverse audiences.
• Excellent organizational skills and time management; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication; produce clear program materials, reports, and correspondence.
• Collaborative skills; ability to work with students, staff, faculty, and external partners.
• Project management from concept to delivery.
• Proficiency in MS Office and digital collaboration tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a small team.
• Commitment to inclusive excellence and accessible program design.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging, outcomes-driven programs and workshops for all UB students.
• Apply instructional design principles to accessible, inclusive learning experiences.
• Facilitate programs, workshops, and events to build innovation mindsets and skills.
• Conceive and execute communications to raise awareness of CoLab programs across campus and beyond.
• Plan and coordinate events that attract participants and provide networking opportunities.
• Coordinate cross-campus partnerships to broaden program reach and impact.
• Assess program effectiveness and iterate based on data and student feedback.
