American Campus Communities is seeking a Property Manager for The Block in Austin, TX. You will lead leasing, marketing, facilities operations, and resident engagement while mentoring a diverse property operations team.

Ideal candidates bring leadership in student or multifamily housing, strong communication, and experience with budgeting and vendor management. This role requires collaboration with university partners and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in student or multifamily housing.
• Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience in leasing, marketing, and facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct leasing, marketing, and facilities operations strategies to meet ACC standards.
• Recruit, hire, supervise, train, coach and develop direct reports.
• Conduct performance evaluations and development plans for team members.
• Collaborate with HR on compensation adjustments for direct reports.
• Oversee maintenance, curb appeal, and preventative maintenance expectations.
• Coordinate with university partners and internal support teams to address concerns.
• Lead resident events and resolve escalated resident concerns.
• Direct oversight of property performance to budget, maximizing revenue and controlling expenses.
