Job summary

Cal Poly Pomona is seeking a Housing Operations Analyst to support Residence Life and Business Operations within University Housing Services. The role focuses on administrative functions, financial processes, and information systems critical to student housing operations.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree, in-state driver’s license, and 2 years of related experience, with strong organizational and analytical skills and proficiency in housing software like StarRez or Oracle PeopleSoft.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree - in a related field.
• DL NUMBER - Driver License, Valid and in State.
• Two years of relevant experience.
• Working knowledge of housing operations, including housing operations systems, policies, procedures, laws and regulations, and best practices.
• Strong organizational skills to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects and housing operations.
• Proficiency in using housing operations software and/or related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Residence Life Support: Support administrative functions of the Director of Residence Life and the Residence Life team.
• Coordinate the general accounting process and provide support and training to the Residence Life Team, including petty cash funds and reimbursements.
• Provide oversight and coordination of annual health and safety inspections.
• Coordinate Residence Life Team parking passes and assignments.
• Provide administrative support for recruitment of professional staff.
• Provide administrative support for recruitment and timekeeping of graduate interns.
• Maintain active calendar tracking and communication of upcoming activities.
