Job summary
San Diego State University is seeking a technically skilled System Analyst to support housing administration technology operations. This role oversees customer support, software systems, and IT services for residential students and staff.
You will manage Help Desk operations, StarRez, CBORD, RezLife integrations, and collaborate with campus IT partners on system integrations. The position requires strong networking, AD/Entra ID, APIs and automation knowledge, with supervision of student staff.
Qualifications
- Equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in a related field and four years of relevant experience.
- Experience with ITSM ticketing and cloud infrastructure is preferred.
- Knowledge of APIs, data formats (JSON/XML/CSV) and authentication protocols is required.
Responsibilities
- Provide Customer Support and oversee Help Desk operations.
- Manage integrations and support for StarRez, TMA, CBORD, RezLife and related applications.
- Lead technology support staff and coordinate equipment, printing, and technology projects.
- Troubleshoot network and technology issues, manage cases, and support staff and residents.
