Job summary

CLS Living seeks a property operations leader to manage a student housing community. The role oversees leasing, maintenance, customer service, and vendor management, while building a high-performing team.

You will ensure staff training on landlord/tenant statutes, Fair Housing, and safety, maintaining high occupancy and strong collections. An entrepreneurial, solutions-first mindset is valued in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or 2–5 years in student or multifamily housing.
• Proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel and Entrata.
• Working knowledge of LIHTC programs, Fair Housing Laws, and EEO laws.
• Strong staff recruitment, financial management and marketing skills.
• Entrepreneurial, solutions‑focused and team‑oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a student housing community.
• Oversee leasing, maintenance, customer service, and vendor management.
• Build and develop a high-performing team.
• Ensure staff training on landlord/tenant statutes, Fair Housing and safety.
• Maintain occupancy at 99% and collections at 98% or higher.
• Manage budgets, financial reports, and variance updates.
• Oversee marketing plans and rental outreach.
• Collaborate with local schools and community partners.
• Develop cost-control and efficiency initiatives.
