Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Leasing Consultant in Gainesville, FL. You will drive leasing efforts, engage prospective residents with tailored tours, and manage inquiries with prompt communication.

You will report to the Property Manager and participate in community marketing and resident events while ensuring accurate lease execution and compliance with screening procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to obtain all licenses and/or certifications required by State or Local jurisdictions including but not limited to PA, IL, NJ and IA.
• Previous leasing and sales experience preferred; experience in multifamily or student housing is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with property management software such as Entrata, OneSite, or RealPage preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, sorting, and filtering, is a plus.
• Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to individual and team leasing targets and meet goals.
• Greet and engage prospective residents, building rapport.
• Provide property tours and tailor experiences to prospects.
• Close leases by addressing objections and securing commitments.
• Respond to leasing inquiries within 24 hours.
• Maintain lead data in Entrata and follow up with prospects.
• Understand leasing trends and product availability to guide decisions.
• Ensure office and common areas are maintained and report issues.
