Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Leasing Consultant for one of its student housing communities in Statesboro, GA. The role reports to the Property Manager and is full-time, non-exempt.

You will greet prospects, conduct tours, and guide applicants through the leasing and screening process while ensuring timely follow-up and accurate record-keeping in Entrata. The position emphasizes customer service, community marketing, and occupancy goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Willingness to obtain licenses/certifications required by state/local jurisdictions (PA, IL, NJ, IA mentioned).
• Previous leasing/sales experience preferred; multifamily or student housing a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with property management software such as Entrata, OneSite, or RealPage.
• Excel proficiency with formulas, sorting, and filtering is a plus.
• Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents, creating a memorable first impression.
• Provide tours highlighting features and benefits tailored to prospects.
• Close leases by addressing objections and securing commitments.
• Manage leasing inquiries via phone, email, or in person within 24 hours.
• Enter and maintain lead data in Entrata and follow up with warm outreach.
• Understand site leasing trends and product availability to guide decisions.
• Maintain office, model units, clubhouse, and common areas along tour routes.
• Participate in community marketing, outreach, and resident events.
