Job summary

GMH Communities is seeking a Leasing Manager to lead leasing and occupancy strategies across our student-friendly communities. You will supervise leasing consultants, close leases, and ensure exceptional resident service while complying with housing laws.

The role requires 2-3 years in student housing, strong leasing and sales experience, and proficiency with Yardi/Entrata and social media marketing. A dynamic, organized leader will thrive in a fast-paced environment with a collegial team

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in student housing—Strongly Preferred
• Leasing and sales experience—Required
• Experience leading a high-performing sales team
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Suite, preferred
• Proficient in social media marketing
• Demonstrated ability to secure leases and provide sales leadership and training

Responsibilities

• Collect and secure rental payments
• Conduct phone, online, and in-person sales with prospective residents and renewals
• Plan and execute leasing events and resident retention activities
• Maintain market surveys and competitive analysis
• Lead property tours, process leases, and maintain lease files
• Provide training and support to leasing team members
• Maintain curb appeal and in-depth knowledge of property and market
• Develop and execute marketing plans for leases and renewals
• Manage social media presence and resident outreach
