Job summary

GMH Communities in Tampa, FL is seeking a Manager of Leasing to oversee leasing, occupancy, and resident relations. You will lead the leasing team, drive sales, and ensure exceptional customer service while complying with fair housing laws.

The role includes developing marketing plans, managing events and social media, and mentoring staff. A strong background in student housing and proficiency with Canva/Adobe, Yardi or Entrata, and MS Office is required.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in student housing (strongly preferred).

Responsibilities

• Leasing responsibilities: Collect and secure rental payments; conduct sales with prospective residents; develop and execute leasing events and resident retention activities; lead tours and close leases; train and support leasing team; maintain knowledge of property and market.
• Marketing responsibilities: Develop marketing plan for leases, renewals; create monthly events calendar and social media campaigns; manage social media postings and outreach.
