Job summary

GMH Communities seeks a Leasing Manager to oversee leasing and occupancy, lead the leasing team, and ensure outstanding customer service. You will manage tours, close leases, and drive market insights while maintaining excellent resident relations and compliance with Fair Housing laws.

The role includes marketing responsibilities, event planning, and social media outreach to generate new leases and retain residents. Proficiency with Yardi/Entrata and MS Office is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ experience in student housing.
• Leasing and sales experience required.
• Experience with Canva or Adobe Suite preferred.
• Proficient in social media marketing.
• Knowledge of Yardi or Entrata systems.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, TEAMS, Zoom, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Collect and secure rental payments.
• Conduct phone, online, and in person sales with prospective residents and renewals.
• Develop, plan, and execute all leasing events and activities.
• Develop monthly resident events calendar and social media campaigns for resident outreach.
• Lead tours, close leases, and maintain lease files.
• Provide training, instruction, and support to leasing team members.
• Showcase the community by maintaining curb appeal and market knowledge.
• Develop the marketing plan for generating new leases, retention, and renewals.
• Post on social media in compliance with guidelines.
• Represent the property on social media and marketing outreach.
