Job summary

Coastal Ridge Real Estate is seeking a Leasing Consultant to support on-site leasing at West Run in Morgantown, WV. You’ll engage with prospective residents, conduct tours, and guide applicants through the leasing process to achieve monthly and team leasing goals.

The role emphasizes quick responses to inquiries, accurate lead management in Entrata, and delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced student housing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to obtain licenses/certifications required by state/local jurisdictions (PA, IL, NJ, IA).
• Previous leasing and sales experience preferred; multifamily or student housing is a plus.
• Strong computer literacy and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Familiarity with Entrata, OneSite or RealPage preferred.
• Microsoft Excel proficiency is a plus.
• Ability to participate in emergency duties as needed.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to individual and team leasing targets.
• Greet, engage, and build rapport with prospective residents.
• Provide tours showcasing the property's features.
• Close leasing by addressing objections and securing commitments.
• Manage leasing inquiries via phone, email, or in person within 24 hours.
• Enter and maintain lead information in Entrata; follow up with prospects.
• Understand site leasing trends and guide prospects toward leasing decisions.
• Ensure office and common areas are well-maintained and report issues.
• Participate in community marketing, outreach, and resident events.
• Guide prospects through the application process and ensure lease accuracy.
• Collect move-in fees and handle paperwork and funds properly.
