Student Quarters in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Part-time Leasing Consultant to manage leasing activities, respond to inquiries, show available apartments, and process move-in paperwork per policy. You will drive traffic, close leases, and maintain a welcoming, compliant leasing office.

This role emphasizes sales, customer service, and accurate record-keeping, with duties including tours, reporting, and coordinating resident events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and write English fluently.
• Computer literacy is required.
• Previous leasing and/or sales experience is strongly preferred. Experience in multifamily housing is preferred.
• Previous experience with property management software such as Entrata preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure leasing targets are achieved for the community and communicate opportunities or threats to the General Manager.
• Enter lead information accurately within Entrata and respond to inquiries quickly.
• Conduct tours and close leases, following up with prospects within 24 hours.
• Understand site leasing trends and product availability and how they relate to sales and closing.
• Maintain models, office, and common areas to the highest standards and report issues promptly.
• Execute the leasing process by asking for the sale and supporting marketing efforts.
• Assist with resident events and manage waitlists as needed.
• Prepare and execute lease agreements and move-in paperwork, and collect funds.
