B.HOM Student Living is seeking a General Manager to oversee daily operations, staffing, leasing, marketing, maintenance, and resident experience at a Columbia, SC community. You will drive NOI and lead a high-performing team to meet financial and service goals.

You’ll build partnerships with universities, manage budgets and compliance, and deliver exceptional resident service while upholding our People-First culture. Onsite leadership and a strong customer focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience managing teams.
• Experience in student housing or multifamily property management.
• Ability to obtain state leasing license within required timeframe.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead onboarding, training, and development of community staff.
• Schedule coordination and staffing oversight.
• Conduct inspections of units, common areas, and amenities.
• Maintain leasing and marketing strategies to achieve occupancy goals.
• Monitor budgets, expenses, and NOI performance.
• Foster community relations and partnerships with universities and local groups.
