B.HOM Student Living seeks a General Manager to oversee our New York community, driving operations, leasing, and resident experience. You will lead staffing, marketing, maintenance, finances, and NOI while building a high-performing team that delivers exceptional resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities include budgeting, staff development, and ensuring lease compliance, with partnerships across universities and local groups.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a property operations team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of student housing operations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and develop all community team members.
• Lead team scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Foster a high-performance, accountable team culture.
• Oversee day-to-day property operations across departments.
• Coordinate unit turns to meet move-in deadlines.
• Support leasing efforts, tours, and marketing activities.
• Build relationships with campus partners and local organizations.
• Oversee resident relations and lease compliance.
• Manage property budget and financial performance to maximize NOI.
