Job summary

B.HOM Student Living is seeking a General Manager to drive operations at the Urbana community. You will oversee staffing, leasing, maintenance, marketing, and resident experience, while guiding a high-performing team to deliver strong NOI.

Lead leasing efforts, build campus partnerships, and ensure financial controls plus operational excellence across all departments. Evening/weekend coverage may be required to meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team management experience.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer systems.
• Understanding of student housing operations and campus environments.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and develop all community team members.
• Oversee day-to-day property operations across departments.
• Support leasing efforts and sales activities to achieve occupancy goals.
• Manage property budget, expenses, and financial performance to maximize NOI.
• Develop partnerships with universities and local organizations.
