B.HOM Student Living in Honolulu, HI, is seeking a General Manager for Hale Mahana Apartments to lead daily operations and drive NOI across leasing, maintenance, and resident experience. You'll build a high-performing team, manage budgets, coordinate unit turns, and partner with campus organizations to maximize occupancy and resident satisfaction in a student housing environment.

This onsite leadership role requires hands-on management, strong communication, and a commitment to People-First

Qualifications

• Strong leadership experience managing multifamily/student housing teams.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer systems.
• Understanding of student housing operations and campus environments.
• Ability to obtain any required state leasing license within required timeframe.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and develop all community team members.
• Lead team scheduling and ensure appropriate staffing levels.
• Address performance, attendance, and development opportunities proactively.
• Foster a high-performance, accountable team culture.
• Oversee all day-to-day property operations across departments.
• Coordinate unit turns to meet move-in deadlines.
• Lead leasing, marketing, and resident experience activities.
