Job summary

UC Irvine’s Graduate and Family Housing seeks a seasoned Student Services professional to coordinate parenting students’ housing programs and services. You will assess needs, refer to campus resources, and support community development within Student Housing.

Under supervision, you’ll train and supervise student staff, manage programs, and collaborate with SOAR Center, UCIPD, Counseling Center, and Health Services to promote belonging and well-being for families on campus.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of advising and counseling techniques.
• Strong knowledge of University computer applications and risk assessment.
• Experience with parenting students; Student Affairs specialization.
• Bachelor's degree and valid driver’s license.
• CPR and First Aid certification required - will train.

Responsibilities

• Develop programs and services to support parenting students and families.
• Oversee budgeting and record-keeping for the unit.
• Supervise student staff and coordinate housing events.
• Collaborate with campus partners (SOAR Center, UCI Police Department, Counseling Center, Health Services).
