Job summary

The University of Alabama at Birmingham is seeking a Student Housing Maintenance Specialist to support the Student Housing and Dining Facilities team. Responsibilities include inspections, work-order handling across janitorial, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and other trades, and coordination with leadership on preventive maintenance.

Position requires high school diploma or GED and two years of related experience, with an hourly starting rate of $15.00, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine facility inspections and report damages or refurbishment needs.
• Coordinate with leadership on special projects and preventative maintenance.
