Job summary

Capstone On-Campus Management LLC seeks a Maintenance Lead Technician to coordinate and supervise contractors for student housing facilities. Responsibilities include general maintenance, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and major trades, with after-hours on-call rotation and budget involvement.

The role requires hands-on maintenance expertise, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance at the Seattle campus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–4 years in general maintenance or facilities management.
• Experience supervising facilities staff and custodians.
• Experience with plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry and painting.
• Must have troubleshooting skills and safety knowledge.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Be able to respond to campus within 40 minutes for on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise contractors in maintenance and upkeep of the student housing facilities.
• Oversee HVAC, electrical, plumbing and major trades; inspect upon completion.
• Manage on-call rotation and after-hours coverage.
• Assist with budget preparation and bid reviews.
• Maintain work order system and inventory of tools and supplies.
• Ensure facility compliance (sprinkler and fire alarm systems).
• Inspect units during turnover and monitor contractor work quality.
• Collaborate with operations leadership on scheduling and projects.
