Blanton Turner is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor for our Vi Hilbert Hall property in Seattle. You will oversee maintenance operations, perform repairs, and manage unit turns with a strong sense of ownership, customer service, and professionalism.

The role requires 3 years of maintenance experience, prior supervisory responsibility, and proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook. Washington State and Seattle landlord-tenant knowledge is helpful; you will lead a team and coordinate

Qualifications

• 3 years general building maintenance experience or equivalent training
• Experience in supervisory position or Maintenance lead role
• Computer proficient (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs of building, including minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, drywall, minor appliance repair and cleaning
• Perform unit turns including servicing appliances, plumbing and electrical, replace old or faulty parts, re-key locks, replace burnt out light bulbs and interior painting
• Address and follow up as necessary on all residents’ work order requests in a timely and professional manner
• Maintain positive and professional relationships with vendors and suppliers and work with them to produce the best product and pricing for the properties
• Maintain professionalism and communicate effectively with all key stakeholders including residents, tenants, the Property manager, Portfolio manager, office staff, and vendors
• Complete all work in a timely and professional manner
• Must be able to work flexible hours and respond to after-hours requests
