Job summary

USC Auxiliary Services, a major division of the University of Southern California, is seeking a Customer Service Representative for the Housing team. You will be the first point of contact for students, faculty, staff, parents, and guests, delivering excellent service and maintaining USC’s high standards.

The role requires a High School Diploma and 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service setting, with professional English communication and a friendly demeanor.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Demonstrated customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external customers.
• Meet customer needs, offer options, resolve problems, and follow up.
• Maintain friendly, helpful demeanor.
• Use information systems to input data, maintain databases, and generate reports.
• Process applications, releases, cancellations, adjustments, changes, requests, fees, invoices, and other related paperwork.
• Maintain complete and accurate records and logs.
• Represent department to students, parents, faculty, administrators, staff, and other outside customers.
• May lead student workers.
• Notify appropriate personnel in the event of an emergency.
