Job summary

North Carolina A&T State University is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to deliver primary healthcare to students, diagnose and treat a broad range of illnesses, and refer cases as needed.

The role may involve supervising and teaching students and medical staff, collaborating with physicians, and promoting health and wellness on campus. The position is on-site with a salary range of $113,066 to $118,870 and full-time, exempt status.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in North Carolina with an approved NP program.
• Completion of an NC-approved Nurse Practitioner program.
• Approved to practice medical acts by NC Joint Subcommittee.
• Minimum five years of related clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary healthcare to students and diagnose a broad range of conditions.
• Treat illnesses, counsel on health promotion and disease prevention.
• Refer complex cases to physicians and other health professionals as needed.
• May supervise, teach and evaluate students and medical staff.
