Chapman University is seeking a student worker to provide administrative support for the Conservatory of Music by coordinating, scheduling, and administering proctored listening and aural skills examinations for students receiving testing accommodations.

The role reports to the Music Core Director, coordinating proctor assignments and communications with instructors, while upholding confidentiality and testing policies to ensure smooth operations at the Orange, CA campus.

Qualifications

  • Ability to learn and apply departmental support processes and procedures.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work under the supervision of Music Core Director.
  • Schedule and administer proctored exams for listening and aural skills tests for students with test accommodations.
  • Communicate and schedule with instructors.
  • Coordinate all proctors on Music Proctor Team, assign proctors to administer tests.
  • Maintain confidentiality and strictly enforce instructors’ policies for test taking.

Anticipated Pay Range

Anticipated Pay Range $17.50 - $17.50

Pay Range Information

Chapman University is required to provide a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this position. This range takes into account a variety of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Salary offers are determined based on the final candidate’s qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and other internal factors. The anticipated pay range is not a promise of a particular wage.
