Job summary

LifeWise Academy in Fayetteville, TN is seeking a part-time LifeWise CDL bus driver to transport public school students to and from the LifeWise site. You will be responsible for safety, punctuality, and vehicle maintenance while ensuring a calm, caring environment for children.

Applicants must hold a CDL with passenger endorsement (P); School bus endorsement is preferred. A clean driving record, background check, and FMCSA Clearinghouse verification are required.

Qualifications

• A mature personal Christian faith in agreement with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• Active participation in and commitment to a local church whose doctrine aligns with LifeWise Academy Statement of Faith.
• CDL license (a copy may be kept on file) and continuous licensure for past three years.
• CDL with endorsement for driving a passenger vehicle (P) required; School bus (S) endorsement preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport children and LifeWise volunteers to and from the LifeWise site.
• Obey traffic laws.
• Maintain the cleanliness and mechanical safety of the bus.
• Perform regular inspections of the bus.
• Refuel the vehicle as needed.
• Create and maintain a safe environment for children and enforce safety rules.
