Job summary

University at Buffalo is hiring a Student Financial Systems Analyst, Student Accounts to manage access to Student Financials data, train users in PeopleSoft, and create reports and queries.

You will serve as the Nelnet subject matter expert, analyze holds, and support website maintenance while cross-training on billing and fee assessment. A bachelor''s degree and at least two years of financial experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting or related field.
• At least two years of financial-related experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel and Access); knowledge of PeopleSoft and reporting/query tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage access to Student Financials data, maintaining security lists.
• Create queries and reports for surveys, ad hoc requests, and departmental use.
• Serve as the Nelnet subject matter expert, including troubleshooting and testing.
• Train new users on PeopleSoft Student Financials according to their roles.
• Manage service indicators (holds) within PeopleSoft and analyze holds for decisions.
• Cross-train on billing, communications, fee assessment, and upgrade/testing processes.
• Assist with website maintenance related to student financial systems.
