Job summary

Aiken Technical College is seeking a Student Financial Accounts Clerk to support the Financial Services Department with cashiering, AR, customer service, and administrative tasks.

Responsibilities include processing payments, deposits, refunds, handling inquiries from students and staff, resolving discrepancies, and assisting with audits.

Minimum: High School diploma and entry-level accounting experience; preferred AR experience in higher education.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and experience in entry-level accounting or bookkeeping.

Responsibilities

• Perform cashiering and accounts receivable functions per College policies and internal controls.
• Provide accurate customer service to students, employees, companies, and other constituents on payments and refunds.
• Assist with student accounts and payment activities, monitor payments and payment plans.
• Provide financial administrative support including data entry, reconciliation, and audit documentation.
• Support other duties and participate in College activities and committees.
