Pensacola State College is seeking a Student Financial Specialist to oversee sponsor contracts, student accounts, and cash collections. You will provide quality service to students, faculty, staff, and external entities, reporting to the Coordinator, Student Financial Services.

The role focuses on helping students manage payments, access online services, and ensure accurate account records while maintaining compliance with FERPA and college policies.

Qualifications

• Associate degree and two years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Experience with spreadsheet and database applications.
• Criminal background check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Sponsor Contracts, student accounts, and cash collections.
• Provide information to students, parents, and prospective students.
• Respond to student account inquiries and explain payment options and deadlines.
• Refer students to third-party providers for payment plans when applicable.
• Ensure accurate records and timely payments, including refunds and postings.
