Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check is required.
• Background checks per Florida Statutes §435.04(2) and FDLE standards.
• Ability to interact professionally with students, faculty and staff; strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist veteran and active-duty military students through admissions processes.
• Advise students on academic policies, degree requirements, and program transfer.
• Collaborate with other departments on retention and completion strategies.
• Explain FERPA rules and protect student information in communications.
• Utilize admissions tools and online applications to support enrollment.
• Develop and present student development workshops.
• Provide referrals to services such as tutoring, financial aid, or counseling.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
