Job summary

Galen College of Nursing seeks a Student Financial Services Specialist to guide students through federal and state financial aid programs, VA benefits, and other funding options to enable enrollment and degree completion.

You will document communications, educate families on aid processes, maintain FERPA confidentiality, and assist with deadlines, forms, and disbursements while collaborating with campus teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Experience with Federal Financial Aid programs is a plus.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist active students with missing documents and form completion.
• Review financial aid applications for accuracy; ensure proper packaging and disbursement of aid.
• Educate students and families on Title IV and loan repayment options.
