Job summary

Utah State University seeks a Student Services Coordinator to support the Office of Operations within Student Financial Support. You will assist with Title IV federal student aid operations and collaborate with campus partners across the USU system.

Qualifications

• Requires four years of experience or an associate degree plus two years of experience; or a bachelor’s degree.
• Ability to research and interpret federal financial aid regulations and program requirements.
• Strong documentation and procedure development skills are essential.
• Knowledge of state and federal aid regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Research federal financial aid regulations and program requirements using available software platforms, databases, and institutional resources to build and maintain working expertise.
• Monitor and process assigned compliance reports through university and federal software systems; analyze findings and recommend improvements to procedures and workflows.
• Develop and maintain procedure documentation that reflects current software capabilities, system workflows, and institutional knowledge.
• Recommend changes and improvements to office communications.
• Assist students with discretion, honesty, and sensitivity.
