• Three or more years of experience in a work environment with extensive public contact.
• Higher education financial aid experience and diversity experience desired.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Meet with students daily to communicate information on financial aid, including grants, loans, veteran benefits, and work‑study.
• Assist students in completing the FAFSA for all federal and state aid.
• Verify student files against tax information and other documentation for accuracy per DOE/ISAC guidelines.
• Prepare budgets to determine aid eligibility and assist with appeals for reinstatement of aid.
• Coordinate financial aid awareness and communicate eligibility details to students and at outreach sites.
