Universal Technical Institute, Inc. is seeking a Financial Aid Advisor to guide students and families through the financial aid process.

You will evaluate eligibility, assist with FAFSA/MPN, and help students access funding while staying compliant with regulations. The role emphasizes budgeting guidance, loan repayment planning, and accurate record-keeping across institutional systems, with opportunities to conduct outreach and workshops.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or GED) required and one year of experience in financial aid, or an Associate degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Minimum one year of data entry and professional customer service experience required.
• One year of experience in a proprietary online higher education environment preferred.
• Must not currently be in default on any Federal Student Loans or go into default while employed.

Responsabilités

• Counsel students and families on financial aid options, applications, and eligibility requirements.
• Assist in completing FAFSA, Master Promissory Note, and other institutional documents.
• Guide budgeting, financial literacy, and loan repayment strategies.
• Evaluate and process financial aid applications per federal, state, and institutional policies.
• Determine eligibility and award aid packages (grants, scholarships, loans, work-study).
• Maintain compliance and verify documentation for accuracy.
