Cal Poly Associated Students, Inc in San Luis Obispo, CA seeks a Student Manager for ASI Events to oversee the ASI Events Student Assistants and coordinate with the University Union leadership team. This role ensures programs, services, policies, and emergency responses are communicated effectively.

Must be a current Cal Poly student with at least 6 units (4 for grads). Strong communication, problem-solving, and multi-tasking are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a currently enrolled Cal Poly student with a minimum of 6 units (graduate students 4 units).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work with staff and participants and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, schedule, and manage daily operations for ASI Events student employees.
• Train staff in duties, customer service, and risk management.
• Lead staff meetings and provide ongoing evaluation and feedback.
• Maintain timely administrative duties and documentation.
