Job summary

Auburn University Advancement is seeking a student worker to support the Office of Alumni Affairs Engagement & Experiences on an event-focused track. This role offers hands-on exposure to the full lifecycle of events, from planning and logistics to on-site execution and post-event evaluation.

You will assist with registrations, vendor coordination, on-site setup, and post-event data processing while enrolled as a student at Auburn University.

Qualifications

• Enrolled Auburn University student.

Responsibilities

• Track event responses and registrations.
• Maintain event timelines, bookings, and deadlines.
• Assist with inventory management of event supplies (food, beverages, materials).
• Research venues, vendors, and event resources.
• Assist with vendor coordination and order placement.
• Contribute to creative planning and event design decisions.
• Assist with event setup and breakdown.
• Support on-site event operations and guest experience.
• Serve as a liaison between event staff, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Provide on-site support to clients and guests during events.
• Assist with post-event data processing, including ID research, record updates, and survey compilation.
• Contribute to event evaluations and continuous improvement efforts.
