Job summary

Walla Walla Public Schools is seeking a Civil Rights Compliance Coordinator as a student worker to support athletic events and district initiatives. The role involves operating game clocks, scoreboards, and handling sound systems while modeling positive behavior for students.

Applicants should be at least 15 years old and demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. Evening and weekend availability is required to support events and ensure top-notch service.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated competency in core-content subject areas (Math, Reading, Writing, etc.).
• Strong interest in working with students in an educational setting.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; strong interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate the official game clock, shot clock, or scoreboard as a Gameworker.
• Handle public address announcing or manage music and sound systems as a NWBD Broadcaster.
• Communicate regularly with supervisors and follow instructions.
• Attend necessary training as directed by supervisors.
• Support the shared goal of high-quality customer service at events.
